So I haven't posted in a long time, and for that I am sorry!

Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't posted anything in nearly six months, but I have been extremely busy. So today, will be a catch up post, just basically telling what I've been doing for the last six months and finally some updates on Bollywood! :)

So, what I have been doing with my time. Mostly it's been school work. This last semester nearly killed me, emotionally and intellectually. A guy I had been talking to for over a year and a half seriously decided in the space of three days that he didn't want to be with me after all and my adviser at school completely failed to mention that there was a certain class that I needed, which is causing me to do what I am doing now...summer school. But at least on the bright side I will be able to graduate this next May, which has me thoroughly excited.

In recent months, I have been getting ready to leave my job in the fall  so I may better focus on schoolwork, and I just recently started dating an army man who is unbelievably kind and good. So from here on out in an effort to make sure that this six month break does not happen again, I am going to attempt to follow a set schedule for blogging. From here on out I am going to attempt to write a blog each Sunday about the various things mentioned in the blog description!  But for today, everyone is going to have to content themselves with Bollywood and some Music selections that I have recently gotten into.

Bollywood! I've watched tons within the last few months but I'm only going to review one at a time! More to follow as the weeks come.

First there was Kites, with Hrithik Roshan, a VERY  good looking man -- you can definitely see Anglo heritage in him, although his Indian heritage gives him just enough spice almost to be seen in an exotic light. :) Kites is primarily about one man's struggle to find out what happened to the woman that he fell in love with. It is set in Los Vegas and Mexico. The woman that he falls in love with is named Linda. The movie opens three months (I believe, it has been a while since I have seen it) after he has lost Linda. And their story is told through flashbacks. Linda was engaged to his girlfriend's brother who also happens to be the son of a casino owning gangster. Consequently because both he and Linda are with the two siblings for money, they fall in love with each other. The interesting part is that Linda doesn't speak Hindi and Jay (Roshan's character) does not speak Spanish and only Jay is fluent in English, Linda knows very little. One of the best lines in the entire movie, is when someone asks them how they fell in love and Jay says, "Well sir, just like music, love has no language." After their love has been discovered they go on the run from the family in an effort to be together and be free. In all reality the end was seriously depressing, only watch it if you are into a Romeo and Juliet type of mood. Otherwise cinematically it was very pleasing.

Lastly, before signing off, I'd like to tell you guys about a new and upcoming artist who in my opinion show's a great deal of promise and talent!! Ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce you to Christina Perri! :)

Jar of Hearts: Featured on Glee and So You Think You Can Dance

Her Newest single: Arms -- absolutely lovely, I might add :)

One of my personal favorites: Bang Bang Bang

And last but most definitely not least: Miles -- a very lovely ballad.

Well everyone, I'm going to sign off now, hope you enjoyed all the crazy stuff I found. I'll let you guys know more about bollywood and Christina Perri later! :)
